If All Arkansas Read the Same Book with All Booked Book Club

Join the Baxter County Library and the All Booked book club in If All Arkansas Read the Same Book, an annual, statewide reading program designed to promote book discussion in libraries across the state. This year’s selection is Michele Richardson’s novel The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek.

The All Booked book club will be hosting its virtual book club on July 21 at 6:00pm via Zoom. Registration is required on baxlib.org. Five copies of the book are located behind the circulation desk for check out, and unlimited digital copies are available through the Library’s eBook collection and the Libby app. All books for the year are available for checkout. Next month’s book is Now Accepting Roses by Allie Kingsley Baker and Amanda Stanton. All Booked takes place every third Tuesday of the month.

Another popular book club hosted by the Library, Issues & Viewpoints, will be reading Titanic Thompson: The Man Who Bet on Everything by Kevin Cook. Issues & Viewpoints will have a Zoom meeting to discuss the book on July 1 at 1:30pm. Registration is required to take part in the conversation. Books are also available behind the circulation desk for check out or through the Library’s digital collection. The book for next month is West Like Lightning: The Brief, Legendary Ride of the Pony Express by Jim DeFelice. Issues & Viewpoints takes place every first Wednesday of the month.

Both book clubs are open to the public and anyone can join at any time. Visit baxlib.org for more information.
