Saturday, October 9, 10:00am-12:30pm, come out to the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County for the Area Author Showcase. This will be a celebration recognizing local talent for writing and art to continue the Library’s Read | Write | Ignite Literary Series. There will also be pulled pork sandwiches and chips thanks to Farmers and Merchants Bank from 11:15-12:15. With featured area authors, chalk artists, and special guest speaker, Nancy Allen, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Nancy is a mystery author and co-authors with James Patterson. She wrote many popular books such as The Jailhouse Lawyer and Juror #3.
