Animals come in all different sizes and shapes! Learn how different animals breathe and the effects of air pressure on breathing in this hands-on class designed to teach children through a series of scientific demonstrations. The highlight of this event will be an activity in which children create a model lung then test their own lung capacity by creating a snake bubble maker to make bubbles several feet long.
ATTENTION PARENTS & TWEENS!!! This outdoor class will be messy and involve movement! Please make sure you child is wearing comfortable stretchy clothing that is appropriate for the weather and can be stained and/or possibly torn.
The class will take place in the Library parking lot.
Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
