Event Details

Teens get together and participate in themed activities, watch movies, or do crafts. Each month is something different. For January, teens will be celebrating National Handwriting Day by writing a letter to someone they care about. Envelopes and stamps will be provided. In February, in honor of Black History Month, we will be watching the movie Selma (PG-13). In march in honor of Women's History Month, we will be watching the movie Hidden Figures(PG). In April we will have a poetry slam, and in May there will be some jewelry making. January 23rd: National Handwriting Day- Write a letter to a loved one.
February 27th: Black History Month- The movie Selma will be shown.
March 27th: Women's History Month- The movie Hidden Figures will be shown.
April 24th: Teens will participate in a poetry slam.
May 22nd: Craft- Jewelry making.
