Join us for a reading of two children’s picture books that help us explore two interesting time periods in history! First, we will read Dazzle Ships, a very interesting true story of a strategy used in World War l to confuse our enemies at sea. Our second book will be Ada’s Violin, which shares a unique story about Paraguay's recycled orchestra.
Attendees will complete their choice of two art projects inspired by the books - designing their own dazzle ships and/or creating something useful from trash.
