Come make a new friend and read to a therapy dog!The program pairs independent readers grades K-3 with registered therapy dogs. The dog listens to the child read, which helps the child build confidence in his or her reading ability and communication skills. This low-pressure opportunity to practice reading can be especially helpful for children who are struggling with reading aloud.
