Program Description
Event Details
Must have a current library card on record to attend. All teens, 13-18, are welcome to enjoy Friday After Hours. Food and games provided. Richard Baruch, a local amateur astronomer, will present a program on how to find your way around the night sky. The program will teach you how to identify star patterns that are visible in our local area, planets that are visible, and the moon. You will also learn where our planet fits into the solar system and where our solar system lives in outer space. All you really have to do is hope for clear skies!
