Event Details

Join us to stargaze and eat s'mores at the Buffalo National River Park. We will celebrate their new Dark Sky Designation with the help of Chris Littlejohn and his expertise on historic cultures and myths behind the dark sky.
We will meet at the Buffalo Point Campground. It is located at 2229 Hwy 268 East, Yellville, AR 72687. Follow the signs to the Campground Canoe Launch, which is located between Loops A & B. There is lots of parking and a restroom nearby.

Feel free to bring camping chairs and a warm jacket. We will provide the supplies for s'mores.

If you would like to follow us to the campground, please meet in the side of Library parking lot closest to College street no later than 6:25pm. We will be leaving the Library at 6:30pm. It takes 45 minutes to get to the campground.
