It was not just soldiers and adults who died during the Holocaust. With 1.5 million children among the victims this program is time to learn more and remember the children who were involved.  Each participant will receive the I.D. card of a child who were victims of the Holocaust. Some were imprisoned in concentration camps, some helped the resistance, some escaped and others did not survive. Youth with the Twin Lakes Playhouse will read some of the I.D. card biographies of child victims. Each person will be able to paint a butterfly as a tangible symbol of resilience and hope to take home and one butterfly that will be displayed in the library.
